Levocetirizine 5 mg + Montalukast 10 mg + Ambroxol 75 mg is used relieve:
This medicine contains three medicines that work differently.
Levocetirizine blocks histamine, a chemical released during an allergic reaction. This helps reduce sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, chemicals that can cause swelling and narrowing of the airways. This helps reduce allergy-related breathing problems. Ambroxol helps loosen and mucus (phlegm) in the airways, making it easier to cough out.
Together, these medicines help control allergy symptoms, improve breathing, and clear excess mucus from the airways.
If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine, montelukast, ambroxol, or any ingredient in this medicine, inform your doctor before taking it, as it may cause an allergic reaction such as skin rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
If you have kidney problems, tell your doctor before taking this medicine, as levocetirizine may build up in the body and its dose may need adjustment.
If you have liver problems, inform your doctor before taking this medicine, as your doctor may need to check whether this medicine is suitable for you.
If this medicine makes you sleepy or dizzy, avoid driving or operating machinery, as levocetirizine may reduce your alertness.
If you have asthma, tell your doctor before taking this medicine. As montelukast helps control asthma symptoms but should not be used to treat a sudden asthma attack.
If you develop unusual dreams, trouble sleeping, anxiety, agitation, depression, or other changes in mood or behavior while taking this medicine, inform your doctor promptly, as montelukast may cause such changes in some people.
If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, inform your doctor before taking this medicine, as your doctor can decide whether it is suitable for you.
If you are breastfeeding, tell your doctor before taking this medicine, as some of its ingredients may pass into breast milk.
This medicine can be taken before or after food. Take it with water as directed by your doctor. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase drowsiness or dizziness, especially due to levocetirizine.
Avoid taking Levocetirizine 5 mg + Montalukast 10 mg + Ambroxol 75 mg with the following medicines, as it may increase or decrease the desired effect, or in worse cases, it could be fatal:
Levocetirizine: 2-(2-{4-[(R)-(4-chlorophenyl)(phenyl)methyl]piperazin-1-yl}ethoxy)acetic acid

Montalukast: 2-[1-({[(1R)-1-{3-[(E)-2-(7-chloroquinolin-2-yl)vinyl]phenyl}-3-[2-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)phenyl]propyl]sulfanyl}methyl)cyclopropyl]acetic acid

Ambroxol: 4-[(2-amino-3,5-dibromophenyl)methylamino]cyclohexan-1-ol

Take Levocetirizine 5 mg + Montalukast 10 mg + Ambroxol 75 mg exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor.
If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.
Taking more than the prescribed amount may cause excessive drowsiness, restlessness, stomach pain, thirst, headache, vomiting, or diarrhea. If you accidentally take more than the prescribed dose, seek medical attention promptly.
This combination is used to relieve allergy symptoms and breathing discomfort while helping loosen and clear thick mucus from the airways.
Common side effects of levocetirizine, montelukast, and ambroxol include drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, nausea, stomach discomfort, and changes in taste.
It may help when the cough is associated with allergies or thick mucus. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine, as the right treatment depends on the cause of your cough.
It may be taken at night if recommended by your doctor. Levocetirizine can cause drowsiness in some people, so taking it at night may be preferred in some cases.
