Take Tolperisone exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor.

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Overdose

Do not take more than 450 mg of Tolperisone per day, as exceeding the recommended dose may lead to serious side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, low blood pressure, and severe drowsiness. Tolperisone Summary

Tolperisone 150 mg is a centrally acting muscle relaxant used to relieve muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain associated with conditions such as lower back pain, cervical spondylosis, post-stroke spasticity, and spinal cord–related muscle tightness. It works by blocking certain nerve signals in the brain and spinal cord that cause excessive muscle contraction, thereby relaxing muscles and improving movement. Common side effects include nausea, dizziness, headache, and weakness, while serious allergic reactions are rare. It should not be used in patients allergic to tolperisone or those with myasthenia gravis, and caution is advised in individuals with liver or kidney problems.

The usual maximum recommended dose is 450 mg per day, and taking more than this may lead to overdose symptoms such as severe dizziness, weakness, low blood pressure, vomiting, or breathing difficulty, requiring immediate medical attention.
